Ethnic Minority Affairs Committee
The Ethnic Minority Affairs Committee (EMAC) advises the MTA Board of Directors on improving communication between the state association and its minority membership. The EMAC has the responsibility of monitoring the implementation of the EMAC Plan and to continue the minority training program and initiate new ones as determined necessary. It identifies new ethnic-minority members to monitor the minority involvement plan, communicates to the membership via mass media to advise and assist the Board and locals regarding minority affairs.
